I dined at Pomegranate Bistro for brunch and I was little skeptical because it was in a building that was part of an office park, but they've really honed their dining experience and decor here. I tried their shrimp and grits and it was tasty. I especially want to recognize Natalie who was a wonderful server. Although I was there for a Mother's Day brunch, she had noticed that my wife and I had gotten married and when we told her we got married a few weeks prior, she brought us a slice of their delicious chocolate cake. She really made the experience great.
Went for a group dinner and found the food to be very good. There were a lot of options on the menu and it is the type of place that I think provides something for everyone. I had the fish with succotash and a variety of the mocktails and found them all to be good. The chocolate cake was delicious. All the desserts looked great. Dietary restrictions were very well labeled and the staff was helpful and very kind. In terms of larger events I’d limit it to a group of 12. Were were given a corner but the manager wouldn’t let us join tables so it was a bit awkward having a number of smaller groups . But there is a big table that seemed to fit roughly 12 people. The tables when moved would fit a larger group. This didn’t ruin anything, mostly just informing.
I’d heard great things about their catering, so I finally tried the restaurant on Easter Sunday. I was surprised they were still serving brunch at 2:30 PM! The open, airy atmosphere with a view into the kitchen is lovely, and our server was attentive and friendly. I was looking for a light yet hearty breakfast (no heavy sauces or grease), but unfortunately they didn’t have a veggie omelet on the menu, and the only available vegetable was bell pepper. It would be fantastic if they could add a mixed fruit bowl and a veggie omelet option to their menu. Overall, a great spot with wonderful staff and ambience—definitely worth a visit, especially if you love pastries!
12/13 Saturday 9am-12pm There was a professional photographer taking pictures with Santa for Free. Kids love their kids meals and fresh & crunchy hash browns. I enjoyed the flatbread with eggs. Also the dripping coffee was delicious! Thank you for providing fresh & tasty food and great services!
Love how family-friendly this place is while having a great atmosphere with the lighting, open kitchen, and decor. The food was delicious! I am a strong believer that when a restaurant uses good quality ingredients, minimal seasoning actually helps the ingredients shine. Ordered the harvest grain bowl, rockfish taco and kid’s mac and cheese. All of the food came out fresh and in great presentation. Been to a lot of places where the vegetarian options feel neglected but this place puts equal thought in vegetarians and meat dishes. There is truly something for everyone to like. We finished all of our food and will definitely come back again!
While this is great for lunch as well, I love coming here for breakfast. While the menu isn't as large as ones you'd find at larger, chain style restaurants that cater to the breakfast crowd, there are still some great options that suit many different taste types. My daughter is gluten and dairy free and there are still great options for her. The sourdough bread is amazing and has such a good flavor when toasted. I highly recommend the rosemary hash browns. You'll love them! If you're a latte drinker, you definitely want to order one of those as they do a great job. The wait staff is super friendly and helpful. They check on your every once in a while (but not to an annoying level) to make sure that everything is okay or you need anything else. The noise level is surprisingly low. There aren't booths and it's open tables, but the environment is such that talk and dishes don't make an echoing sound. You can have a pleasant conversation while maintaining a normal voice. There is plenty of space between tables for those that aren't as mobile as others. Whether it's a wheelchair, walker, or cane; you'll be able to move around easily and get seated into a table comfortably. For the quality of this restaurant, the prices are definitely low. The food is amazing and I'd happily pay more for that level of quality ... although, the lower prices are definitely appealing and keep me coming back!
Been to this spot many times, but usually for brunch. Ate here for lunch for the first time and was not disappointed. I ordered the Pom Breakfast Sandwich, which was very flavorful and a big portion. I also ordered the Parmesan Truffle Fries which were amazing. My friends ordered the Chilaquiles and Tres Quesabirria Tacos, which were both enjoyed. There seems to be some discrepancies about whether dogs are allowed at the restaurant or not. Yes, Pomegranate Bistro is absolutely dog friendly. I brought my dog and sat on the small, cute patio area they have on the side of the building. The server even brought water out for the pup. Im assuming that dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant, which makes sense. Side note, if you go to their weekend brunch, dont miss out on the Savannah Hot Puffs!
